We have been trying to explore write back to BW via Design Studio - unfortunately not found much information on SDN.

Does any one ever implemented this feature ?.

As I understood , Dashboard has write back using SOA framework but it has not been mentioned whether Design Studio will support SOA or if there is any other way if it does not support SOA ( as I believe , if SAP support SOA for dashboard then it should be in support in Design Studio).

Any thoughts here ?.

Issue --> WD ABAP iView UI is distorted in portal

As per various discussion in SCN the cause of this may be the version of WD Stylesheet is higher than that of portal version. I tried to find the style sheet version of WD ABAP as per SAP Note 2080443 and portal style sheet version using note 2080430. Below are the snapshots of both

I am new to JSF develpment. In my project we are using JSF to develop custom applications.

I created a JSF DC in the development track of my project.

I delopoyed it successfully and I could check in and activate the activity for the JSF DC as well.

I created support incident 944656 / 2015 but was asked to post the issue here from the Platform Support Tool.

I've successfully ran every part of the Landscape Analysis except Version History. I've atttached a successful report as well as the log
file from the version history.

I assume that I've set up the SAP Host Agent correctly because theHardware Summary works fine (attached).

I can reproduce on our DEV (3-node) and TEST (6-node) landscapes as well as a 1-node sandbox.       

Steps for Reconstruction    
1. Install Platform Support Tool
2. Configure JMX on Tomcat
3. Install SAP Host Agent on all nodes in landscape
4. Run the Patch History feature of the Landscape Analysis

I must be overlooking a procedural step somewhere?

in this Range error with graphic (sapbarc error on GANTT) , some one mentioned to this problem and get the answer but I didn't make any change to profiles.

In VC, We are facing one issue that one characteristic value is showing while debugging. But for that characteristic we have not maintained any value in class varint-300 and in class-300 and observed the characteristic value assignment field is showing in disable mode while checking in class.

In ct04 while checking the value tab;it is showing the value from MARA table.  How the value is coming from MARA table. This issue we are facing in one development.

we have verified thevalue against the order level configuration. there it is showing as blank and classification level of that material. but while debugging, it is showing the value.

we observed in debugging the below details

The purpose of this blog is to explain some of the functional/installation changes you will see when you install precalculation patch 400 for SAP GUI 740 onwards.

From 740 precalculation patch 400  only one precalculation service file is delivered i.e SAP BW Precalculation Service Multi Instance.

Here I am explaining some new changes which you may observe after installation of 740 precalculation patch 400.

One of the Precalculation service file is removed from 740 Precalculation patch 400. i.e SAP BW Precalculation Service

Due to this change you may face some installation issues and functional issues related to removed service 'SAP BW Precalculation Service '.

If you face any such issues please follow the below information/steps

1. There is no concept of upgrade of precalculation from older version to newer version.

          Precalculation is only for direct installation.

          Please check the Precalcserver installation document which is delivered along with Precalculation server in SAP     GUI  DVD.

     2. In case you have upgraded precalculation server from older patch to latest patch
           Ex: 740 precalculation patch 300 to 740 precalculation patch 400            

Issue:

• You can still see two Precalculation service files. i.e SAP BW Precalculation Service & SAP BW Precalculation Service Multi Instance when you Goto Run -> Services.msc

as shown in below figure:

But as already mentioned above that from precalculation patch 400 only SAP BW Precalculation Service Multi Instance service file is delivered not the SAP BW Precalculation Service.

So the SAP BW Precalculation Service which you see in the list here is of older patch which won’t work.

• Now when you try to uninstall precalculation server to remove the ‘SAP BW Precalculation Service’ using precalculation server patch400 or from control panel, Though uninstallation get successfully completed ‘SAP BW Precalculation Service’ still persists in the services list.

Solution:

1. Run Precalculation patch300 instead of patch400 to do the clean installation. It will remove SAP BW Precalculation Service.
   
2. Install Precalculation patch 400.

      Now you would see only one precalculation service i.e SAP BW Precalculation Service Multi Instance.

Note: Precalculation server must be in same patch level as Business Explorer.

in another computer install new SAP for Live. Is database install on two system separately  or only on single system and shared by both computer .

We are facing strange issue during billing. When system create invoice, accounting document triggers different GL number.

If we go and check and account determination analysis there it shows correct GL account (account that is mapped in VKOA) however in Accounting

document  it shows different  GL account.

Please help on this.

I am using a responsiveGridLayout to display the header data (pink color background). The only change i want to make in the below output is that there is a gap between the green tick and the label "Fully Delivered" , I want to reduce this gap. Normally in FormElement there is one label and one corresponding control for it. But in this particular line , I am having one label and 2 controls for this FormElement (one label "Fully Delivered" and one image of green tick).

Not sure how to reduce this gap. Spanlabel property is for the label but I want to change the span of the controls and not label of FormElement so i guess i cannot use this property for my purpose.

We have a complex interface requirement to definite a system integration of SAP CRM and SAP CLM via webservices.

The process shall be:

1. In SAP CRM: Call an inbound webservice in SAP CLM via PI/XI to deliver data of a master agreement (SAP CLM) to SAP CRM
2. In SAP CLM: Call (by script or comparable) an outbound webservice in SAP CLM that triggers a program in SAP CRM (via PI/XI) to deliver master agreement data

Currently, we have 3 questions:

• Is this process stable with PI/XI and webservices?
• Do Inbound webservices in SAP CLM have “return” parameters to fulfill requirement 1?
• How can we define Outbound webservices?

We need some help and advise to realize the requirement of our customer. We would appreciate this.
